During your audition you will be asked to recite a short monologue (usually this is provided from the script, but on some occasions we will ask you to prepare your own monologue of a certain length).
Remember during this part, we aren't here to see your reading abilities - if you stumble over the words that's no big deal, but make sure you speak distinctly and with expression. Making acting choices with small movements and gestures is encouraged.
We allow our younger performers who are still developing their reading skills to ‘repeat after me’.
For our full length productions you are asked to find your own monologue (can be from anything) between 30 seconds and 1 minute in length.
